MAIL ART SALON 2014
Open Call
All artists are invited to participate in a Mail Art Project
and Exhibit to be held in conjunction with the The North Dallas Artist Studio
Tour on April 26 and 27, 2014. The
studio tour brings together residents of the community and artists with the
goal of creating a deeper understanding of the creative process and
demonstrating the variety of forms that creativity can take. Participants on the Tour and in the Mail Art
Project seek to demonstrate that art adds meaning and richness to community
life.
Submission Deadline is April 1, 2014
· Original
artwork only; no photocopies or reproductions
· Postcards;
4” x 6” or 5” x 7”
· All
media and techniques welcome
· Multiple
entries allowed
· Each
entry must be individually submitted through the postal system; no email or
online entries accepted.
· No
fees, no jury, no returns.
Please include your name, mailing address and email address
with each work submitted. Title of the work and medium are encouraged but not
required.
After the exhibition all participants will receive an email with
a list of participants. If you do not
want your contact details (postal and email address) to be included please let
us know.
